What are good plants to put in a pound with gold fish?

I need a list of plants that goldfish can thrive on.

Algae is a good plant for fish water lillies are good as they help oxyginate the pond and look nice Reeds are usefull at the side of the pond as they can stop predators getting at the fish flowers are good nearby as they attract insects which the fish can eat

Lotus and water lilies produce attractive blossoms and lots of color. A good tip is to check with your Ag extension agent-- for the ecologically responsible varieties for your area.
