What are "converse" colors?

Converse means opposite, or that which is in opposition to an in particular topic. Using this as a base for our question, we can state that converse colors are those that are inverses of each other. Taking the color spectrum as a tool for choosing the converse of a color we can see white's converse is black.

Converse colors are sorted by blues,grays, and so on from pale to the darkest. You pick a color and see all the different shades that is offered for that color. You can have converse colors with any color.
