You could have difficulty passing urine, pain, numbness, swelling or bruising in the abdomen, and groin, or scrotal swelling in men. Hernias can re-occur. Of course, as with all surgeries, you can experience nausea, dizziness, affected appetite. If you have bleeding, fever, undue swelling, discharge from the surgical site you need to seek treatment immediately.
