Chemotherapy can have many nasty side effects but there are many medications to help with that. The most common side effects are extreme fatigue, hair loss, nausea and vomiting. Remember not everyone gets these side effects and some people may only have a few or some may have none. Also there is more than one kind of chemotherapy.

Side effects of cancer treatment vary. Depending mainly on the type and extent of the treatment. Also, each person reacts differently. Doctors try to plan the patient's therapy to keep problems to a minimum. Doctors can explain the side effects of treatment and suggest ways to deal with them. It may help to talk with another patient as well, also.

Nausea,vomiting and dizziness. Also your hair may fall out and you may be very tired and feel like you are going to vomit but you don't . You may not want to eat.

This includes nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Hair loss is another side effect. Chemotherapy can also cause memory loss. Exhaustion is another side effect. Constipation, pain, and mouth sores can be experienced.
