Dogs have an excellent sense of smell. Sharks however have the best sense of smell. They can smell a small amount of blood in the ocean from a mile away.

It is very difficult to decide this, Bears have an excellent sense of smell, the polar bears can smell to distances of approximately 10 or 15 miles, dogs and wolves are excellent rastradores too. Bloodhound dog is the best.

If extinct animals count it is Daspletsaurus, second place goes goes to the T-Rex. I think the animal with the best sense of smell would be the deer. The deer's keen sense of smell alerts it when there is danger near. Deer can smell danger from miles away.

Dogs are one of the animals that have a good sense of smell. different breeds of dogs have different smelling abilities. Certain breeds will have a greater sense of smell than other breeds.

A pig has very keen sense of smell and police wanted to use them instead of dogs but a slang for police is pig so they did not use them.
