There are two possibilities that I can think of. If it's a CRT type TV then a strong magnetic field near the screen can disrupt the electron gun and cause discoloration. If it's a TV with component video inputs then something may be wrong with the component video cable.
Thank you for that :) I will check that out. It has since corrected itself. It now goes green every so often, and corrects itself after about 10 minutes or so. add a comment
