To burn fat, what is a good heart rate?

Body burns higher percentage of fat in the low intensity fat burning zone.At higher intensities, a lot calories is burnt off.It does not mean that low intensity exercise has no place. A complete one minute pulse rate gives resting heart rate .For a person of resting heart rate 65, target heart rate will be 150 to 177. Cardioexercise helps lot.

This depends on your weight and age. If you are just starting off, try getting above 160 if you are young enough.
