Your heart rate will vary throughout a weight lifting session. Weightlifting is an anaerobic activity, so heart rate will fluctuate depending on whether you are lifting or resting.

To tell about ones heart rate while weight liftingwe should know what is ones age and the condition of ones health. In general we say that the heart range should be from 60 to 85. It is better for one to start slowly from 60 and gradually carry on to 85.

Depends on the style of lifting. I recommend lengthier sets as opposed to short sets of strenuous weights, and normally see heart-rates reach 150% of rest. Heart rate is not absolute and should always be measured compared to a base. A 70 rest rate should hit 100-110 while lifting.

I'm a 30 year old male. I lift 3-4 days a week and when I'm just lifting, my heart rate is generally in the 90-100 beats/minute range.

To get accurate measurement of your heart rate, use of a heart rate monitor. Your maximum heart rate is 220 minus your age. Display your heart rate constantly
