Should my shoes always match my purse?

Not necessarily! As long as your shoes compliment the outfit you are wearing, and the purse you are carrying compliment your outfit, I would say the two of them do not necessarily have to match. You can wear an outfit with black, white and yellow for example and carry a black and white print purse and wear yellow shoes.

Shoes and purse should coordinate, but they do not always have to match exactly. For example, a navy blue purse looks great with red shoes.

Your shoes don't have to match your purse, as long as they go together somehow. You can use a complementary colored purse.

Not necessarily. A lot of times people are mixing colors and patterns, even textures. For example, you could do teal shoes with a violet colored bag.

No. Shoes need to match your dress, especially pants ,jeans. If you choose black purse then your shoes can match any color. People rarely look bottom. Find nice purse for eye catch. Tq

It is very important for looks and attractiveness that the purse should be strictly matching your dress material you are wearing and after that the shoes must match the style and looks of the purse. Even there should be color combination between the two. If all the three are matching, then the looks would be gorgeous.
