Should tights match a skirt or shoes?

It's easier for the tights to match the shoe. But it's necessary the skirt compliment the tights and shoes and vice-versa. You can't go wrong either way if you choose hose requiring a garter belt. Or choose a pair of fish net panty hose, they'll sure to be a hit where ever you go.

Tights are not required to match other articles of clothing. Avoiding wearing black tights with brown shoes, and when in doubt either nude or black tights in most cases will match your outfit. What is most important is that your outfit as a whole matches, use colors that compliment each other and yourself.

Tights should match both skirt and shoes. If all three articles are not matching, tights should always match shoes. This creates a long and lean leg line.

The tights should match the whole outfit in general. It's not that it has to "match", it just needs to "go". Since everything in an outfit should "go", the skirt and shoes should both be able to look good with the tights.

The wearing of tights does match a skirt and the shoes and the matching is quite correct and after all it is your own liking.
