Otherwise, how do you protect puppies from fleas?

No frontline is dangerous to use on dogs. Frontline and similar products have dangerous chemicals in them. They make flea shampoo for dogs now. Also baby shampoo and dish washing soap work great too.

No the vet told me that I should only use flea powder on the puppies until the puppies are six months old.
