How can I get rid of fleas on puppies?

Since the puppies are too small, it is advisable not to spray or apply any chemicals. You can apply Neem Oil on the body of puppies, which is not harmful but very effective to do away with the fleas. Also, this oil will keep the skin very shiny and glossy.

Home "remedies" are truly best for riding your dog of fleas. Just be sure to adjust amounts for age and size of dog. A 1/16 solution of Pine Sol and Water works best for fleas and ticks. Soap animal and let stand for 5-7 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Results are immediate. Also Dawn Dish Washing liquid works great.

Try dipping a flea comb in soapy water and combing the puppies. Kill fleas in carpets by sprinkling salt, leaving overnight, then vaccuuming. Keep puppies away for the night. Homemade flea spray can also be made by adding several drops of cedar wood oil and lavendar oil to a spray bottled filled with water. Spray puppies 3-4 times daily.

Puppies are often too young for the majority of chemical type flea prevention or treatments. place puppy in tub or sink of luke warm water and wet. apply johnson& johnson shampoo. then rinse. the dead fleas come out

They transmit diseases. Pet shop offer treatments to protect pet from fleas. They supply lotion,powder etc. Wash petevery week. Use Vacuum carpets furnishings where pets sleep.
