Should I be concerned that my toddler cries so hard he throws up?

My toddler seems to get so upset and can not calm herself down.

My son is exactly the same way, however he is autistic. He from time to time will cry so much that he will throw up as well, I found the best solution is to pick him up and try to calm him down by rocking him and patting his back.

You need to get her tantrums under control. Ignore her when she throws them too often. Or you could try calming her down.

My daughter did this too, we ended up putting her in counseling to learn coping skills at age 3. It seems to be common, most grow out of it though.

This must be very upsetting for you. Be sure to speak with your child's pediatrician to rule out any medical conditions. Most likely, it is a case of 'the tantrums'. When our oldest son was upset, he would stop breathing until he passed out. He eventually outgrew this, thankfully.
