Should I be concerned about my dog whom got bite by a snake?

If your dog got bitten by a snake and is still alive then there is probably nothing to worry about. However, if you start to notice changes in personality or health status, it would be wise to contact your vet. Most snake or insect bites that are poisonous will kill a dog in a matter of hours.

Snakes bites from venomous snakes can be lethal to a dog. The dog should be taken to a vet immediately.

It depends entirely on what kind of snake it was that bit your dog. If it is a venomous snake, your dog will need immediate medical attention. If it was a harmless snake, it is no worse than any other small puncture wound.
