It's a high skill item, if you're not comfortable with electronics I would suggest
either picking up an "easier" brand, or just picking up a different electronic device
in general.
have you tried to contact the company about any warranty on the product? Maby you should try another outlet. Another problem could be that the power supply might need replaced one the TV.
Contact toshiba and explain to them everything that is wrong with your tv and they should be able to tell you whats going on with this problem. Or,If they have automated system reactivated.
