Why won't my RCA projection TV stayed powered up?

It powers up then turns itself off after about five seconds.

There must be a manufacturing defect if the projection won't stay on. Other than that, are your wires aligned properly and put in the proper spots? This is essential for focus.

This sounds like a problem with the power supply. The power supply could be over-heating and automatically shutting itself off to save the electronics in the TV. It might be best to take the projector to a repair shop and have them look at it. It's cheaper to replace a power supply than the whole TV :)

Check to make sure that your power supply is working. Also, make sure that you don't need to replace your light bulb.

Your setting are wrong on the "guts" of the television somewhere inside. If you call the RCA people online or local, they could have you up and running
