Hiccups are common with larger breed puppies and are not a problem. They do go away as the dog grows.

Probably not unless it's been going on for more than a few hours, a day at most. Dogs get hiccups just like humans do.

Most puppies get hiccups regularly when they are very young. They typically last only a few minutes. This is very normal and you should not be concerned. By the time they reach adulthood this will become very rare.
