My mother buys an insecticide that is like a dust that she sprinkles on the plant. It actually works. It gets rid of them and keeps them from coming back.

You should be able to purchase an insecticide such as dipple dust at your local hardware or gardening store. Sprinkle the insecticide on the plant and wait. The insecticide will kill the caterpillars already there and prevent more from coming. You can also mix 1 part water to 1 tsp liquid dish soap and spray it on with a waterbottle.
