My Mayer lemon now has bud that will be blooms soon, is there anything special I should do to promote its growth?

Water the plant regularly. Remove the unwanted parts in the plant. Good manures and fertiliser are needed for a healthy plant. The collected dried leaves are good manures, so do not through the leaves ,just let it be. In the country side they put the coal on the leaves so that ants may not come to the plants.

No, just keep it watered and in the sun. It likes warm weather. These are one of the most easy growing plant in the warm weather.

Once the the fruits start to form you should remove some of the fruit and leave only 3 or 4 in each bunch. Cut back on watering and monitor pests.

Keep it well watered, soil moist, remove any shoots, and prune after harvest. Fertilize with citrus food. Meyer Lemons are ready to pick in 3-4 months after first bloom.
