Spondylosis is a condition of the spine. The literal definition of the term is an "inflamation of the spine" especially the spinal bone. The inflammation of the spinal vertebrea usually occurs because of trauma or an infection. Usually the disease is discovered when the vet performs a radiograph of the dogs back. The animal can live a satisfactory life.

Spondylosis is a condition that can be found both in dogs or humans. It is a degenerative arthrosis of joints. This most commly affects the joints between the centra of the spinal vertebrae and/or neural foraminae. If the conition is sever it can cause pressure on nerve roots, which then in turn causes pain, paresthesia, or muscle weakness in limbs.

Spondylosis is the degeneration of the spine and the joints in the spine. It can be thought of as arthritis of the spine. It is fairly common and often times relief can be found with pain medication and glucosamine supplements. Also, you want to provide your dog with a soft, elevated bed (like a doggy cot) to help relieve pressure.

Spondylosis is a chronic condition in which bone spurs are formed due to progressive disk degeneration. This means your dog probably has back pain and could result in a less capacity to run and jump.
