My job moved to an empty hospital wing, and we want to plug in a refrigerator. Would any outlet work?

Refrigerators are great to have in an office setting, you're going to need to make sure that the outlets there accommodate a grounding line (the third hole on an outlet).

Most refrigerators are designed to operate on a standard 15 amp outlet. It is possible that the hospital could have outlets that are of a higher amperage. Look at the outlet that you want to use. If it looks like one you have at home it is probably o.k..
