Yes. There are several options available. There are some commercial repellents available (that you can find with a quick search). There are also a number of traditional repellents such as mothballs that some people swear by.

There are bat repellents, but they don't work. The best repellent is to repair and fill in the holes that the bats are coming in through to get into your attic. This will help your electricity bill too.

I have alwasy been told that moth balls remove and keep bats away the smell gets to them and they will run from it plus many insects

There are plenty of things that you can do to repel bats. Bleach is known to make them leave. Also, if you can make plenty of loud noises, they do not like to be in areas that they cannot sleep during the day. Moth balls can be used. Also, you can find repellents at a local hardware store.
