The best snake repellent that can be used is probably already in your home. Moth balls, which are quite odorous can be placed in any area in which snakes may come in or where they may be. This drives them out and they will avoid the scent of the moth balls.

Mothballs and sulfur are both good ways to repel snakes for a certain area. However, they will need to be replaced often if it rains or the area gets wet.
