Yes there is most certainly a Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. Van Gogh was born in Amsterdam but he was a traveler most of his life. The museum is quite large though, and a major tourist attraction in Amsterdam,If planning on making a visit I would suggest purchasing tickets ahead of time.
