Is there a throttle valve cable for my transmission?

Never heard of anything called that. your vehicle has a throttle cable and linkage but not hooked to the transmission. that would be a trans linkage maybe. Id need more info to help you better

I can't imagine why there would be given that transmissions don't have throttles. The throttle valve is found in the intake system on the engine.

This transmission has been in use since 1982 so you should be able to find plenty of parts for it. There is a throttle valve cable for the 700r4 for both factory built and after-market transmissions. For an installation guide visit the net.
