Is the Durabrand television a good brand?

While good is a matter of opinion really, Durabrand is a durable and reliable manufacturer. By no means are they considered a high end manufacturer, but they do produce sturdy, slightly above average products with decent to good displays.

It's a great brand but inferior to the other great brands on the market such as sony. It can last you for a good two years or so after that sound quality deteriorates.

According to Consumer Reports Durabrand Televisions are a poor brand in overall quality and durability. This leads me to believe that this is not a good choice.

I've never had a good experience with them. I bought a stereo system from them and it broke down a few weeks later. Their televisions will probablhy do the same.

I would not buy a Durabrand product. It is a Walmart house brand that are build to sell at the lowest possible price. Don't expect it to last past the Warranty period.

Most TV's with today's technology are fairly good, but there are brands that are much better, better known, and more readily available in your area. The problem with Durabrand is it is any shoot off of Sony-Vaio and the parts and technicians to fix any problems you might have with this set are few and far between.

Durabrand is a Wal Mart store brand. Price and features would be the determining factor for me. Also, check Wal Mart's return policy for electronics before you buy.

Durabrand is a low end TV that is sold by Walmart, it is the walmart electronics brand and they do work just fine but they lack in some features that the better TV sets have, and their life expectancy is not going to be as long as if you buy a Sony TV.
