A good battery powered LCD T.V has quality screens with long lasting power. Some good brand names for these T.V's are Channel Master, Tivax, Supersonic,MyGo TV. Polymer batteries would be the cheapest longest lasting batteries for these Televisions. You can find these on most basic electronic websites or at your local RadioShack.

Sharp has come out with several low power LCD televisions that can run off DC power. They have one unit that is made to use solar power.

the supersonic sc is one of the most popular brands of battery powered lcda it is also one of the brands that have the best price. Audiovox is another popular brand for this type of tv. as well as the old favorite phillips.

Sony and Sharp makes two of the best LCD television batteries on the market today. Sharp uses solar power to charge some their models just as Sony makes rechargeable ones.
