For portable DVD players, the Panasonic brand is sturdy enough to outlast anything in car trips. Generally, there would be a mount for it, so it will last a while.

Well, it's just like anything else, you get what you pay for. Panasonic makes a lot of high quality products, but you pay for the quality. I'm sure they have some low end stuff also, every brand name is going to be about the same based on the price.

I own a Panasonic DVD player that is a couple years old and I have found it to be a very good and reliable player, so yes.

Panasonic is a well recognize brand and has been synonomous with decent quality electronics for years. There are a few other brands out there as well with high rated reviews on portable DVD players, Sony being one of the main contenders in this market as well as Phillips, they all have pretty good reviews.

Panasonic is a very good brand for DVD players. You will often find their equipment in major consumer electronics, such as the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. They also make a very wll trusted series of portable DVD pplaers as well as in-dash dvd players for cars and trucks.

i have three panasonic dvd player and i still have them and will till they died i love panasonic stuff and buy it as much as i can it seem to last longer for me

Yes it is a fantastic brand. In fact all of the Panasonic electronics are good, solid products. Looking at a DVD player for car rides, you won't go wrong with Panasonic. If the price is right, go for it.
