Is millimeters shown on rulers?

A metric ruler shows only millimeters and centimeters. Some rulers have English units (inches and feet) on one edge and metric units on the other. On a ruler, centimeters (10 millimeters)are marked with numbers. An inch is 25.4 millimeters.

It would, of course, depend on the ruler, but the vast majority of rulers in the US these days show metric on one side and inches on the other.
