Leviton is one of many manufacturers in the electrical industry, they like others make different product lines from inexpensive to expensive. They are a quality manufacturer but if a budget prevails there are less costly brands available.

There are mant brands of switches to choose from. Leviton is a reputable company that sell quality electrical devices. Many electrical contractors use them on a daily basis with excellent results.

Leviton is one of the largest manufacturers of electrical products. I've used them many times over the last 10 years and always had good luck with them.

Quite simply put yes. You get what you pay for. Cheaper switches tend to have more problems and do not last the test of time. Especially with dimmers. Buying a quality dimmer is key to it's future. Cheap dimmers tend to burn up pretty quickly.
