That's false. When he swore in, he had placed his hand on the bible. There's no way his reps would let him NOT do that.

This is probably a reference to the story of him having to retake the oath, but do to other factors, the bible not being present. This is said to be true, as it is not a requirement, and just a symbolic gesture. For the first inauguration, there was a bible.
