Is it safe to give Albon to rabbits?

I have a sick pet rabbit and was told to give him albon.

It's safe if given in proper doses. Make sure you don't give him more than 1/10th of what you yourself would use, since their body weight is a lot less than your own.

Do not give your rabbit any medication unless it is prescribed and directed by a veterinarian. Albon is formulated for dogs and cats, not rabbits, and should not be given to a rabbit unless specific dosing is clearly spelled out. You can easily kill the rabbbit.

If a vet told you to, then do it. Otherwise, you could just make the problem worse. Your rabbit needs to be seen by a licensed veterinarian.
