Chicken manure is safe to burn. There are a few things to remember if you plan on doing this though. First position your burn site wisely, pay attention to wind. Secondly stay nearby the whole time it is burning. Finally make sure that you always burn in the same spot since chicken manure can contaminate plants.

As long as there is proper ventilation in the area and you are not breathing in the fumes, it should be safe. It would be a better idea to find a company that will take and reuse the manure. This is safer and you make make money in the process.

When the slurry is raw contains many chemicals that can produce toxic fumes if burned (if dry). Waste should only be Burned after going through a composting process. Once done the process becomes it is pure fertilizer. Sale for use in plants and pots, and buy natural gas to burn.

No, this may actually kill all the micro organisms in the chicken manure making it quite toxic and unusable for compost or other gardening uses. The smell alone may be noxious and disturb entire neighborhoods resulting in complaints and fines.

I don't see why not people use to go out and collect the big piles of cow crap to burn for heat so i wouldn't think there would be any difference whether its from a cow or a chicken or a horse but how does one stand the smell of burning manure?
