You can put JD in your freezer, but the alcohol in it will not freeze unless it hits about -117 degrees celsius. Keeping it in the freezer does make it nice and cold and means you don't have to use ice to water it down.

Alcohol has a much lower freezing point than water and does not freeze in a standard household freezer. The water content would freeze so you would end up with a very cold slushy mixture, but never solid. Common courtesy says to give Jack a blanket!

You can try it if you want, but alcohol has a low freezing point and you may not be able to accomplish it. Also, I wouldn't recommend freezing it in glass containers as it may expand and break the glass.

You can put it in the freezer and it will get icy cold, but it will not freeze because of the alcohol content. If you make marinade using Jack, you can keep it in the freezer, but it will remain slightly soft.
