Usually there is a beam of one type or another under the floor that has lost it's support. The jack is placed under this beam and raised slowly until the desired effect is achieved. A solid support should be installed. You may need to repeat this in several locations to completely eliminate the sag in your floor.

To put a jack up on the floor, first make sure the floor is even. If it is uneven the weight placed on the jacks could be unevenly distributed and cause a fall. Make sure you leave enough space for the proper jack placement. Jack stands should be made of uncompromisable material. Place jacks on floor following direction in manual,for placement.
