It is not hard to start an internet business, but you have to know a few fundamentals. #1 You need to have a product that people are willing to pay money for on the internet and have a secure way to collect money from customers.

No. All you need is a website and a product or service to sell. You may even create an online bookstore or store with products sold via Amazon or another online retailer. The issue is marketing and generating sales to make a profit. That requires either significant effort or marketing expense.

No. There are literally thousands of sites that will help you get started. However, maintenance and actually getting the business to function is another subject.

It really depends on what kind of business. Some can be quite easy. Examples include selling products on ebay or criagslist. Creating a t-shirt business through some site like cafepress can also be quite easy. It really depends on what you want to do.

The tricky part about an internet business is finding ways to make money. You ned to decide if you want to do subscription based, ad sales, etc.
