Is it hard to install front brake pads on an Olds Bravada?

Answer by  Jsands1982 (871)

There may be special tools involved in replacing the brakes of this vehicle. Buy a tear down and rebuilt manual to decide wither you need these tools or basic tools. Make sure that the vehicle is supported on jack stands. Also be careful when compressing the brake piston back into the brake caliper.

Really it is no harder then any other vehicle. Jack it up and pull the wheel off. Then remove the caliper the old pads. Compress the brake piston and install the new pads. Slide the caliper on the rotor and reinstall the bolts. Then reinstall the wheel and torque the lug-nuts to factory specification.
