Is it common to have bleeding during ovulation?

It is not, as you hormone levels are at their highest and your body is trying to make a receptive endometrium. See your doctor.

Light bleeding, commonly referred to as "spotting", can occur during ovulation when a woman's estrogen level drops right before ovulation. Severe or prolonged bleeding may require a doctor's visit.

No it is not common to have bleeding during that time. Bleeding at that time would show a pathological interruption of your normal hormone variation.
