Is it better to be an open sinner than a false saint?

I'm a smoker. however, if offered I won't have one -- right now. Later, for sure. I've managed to pull this off for 22 years. Stating that I was a nonsmoker wasn't sustainable, but procrastinating from smoking has. In the meantime friends of mine who were open smokers have died of lung cancer. So false saint works for me.

It is always better to show people what they are going to get. Deceiving others by acting one way but actually being something else does no good for anyone. An open sinner at least represents himself fairly and people know exactly what to expect when they associate with him and can avoid him if necessary.
