No they are too big to use rat traps on. Plus why would you want to kill them, squirrels are so cute!

I would use a squirrel trap instead of a rat trap. If you know the size of the squirrels you're trying to get rid of the rat trap may work.

Rat traps are not adequate against squirrels. I wouldn't kill squirrels in the first place, but if you gotta, then use a squirrel trap.

No, you may injure unsupecting wildlife or domestic animal. The best thing you can do is either use a have a heart trap and release them somewhere else or don't keep things in your yard that attract squirrels, like bird feeders. Killing them is cruel and it serves no purpose, there will always be another to take it's place.

I do not believe it is a good idea to use rat traps to kill squirrels. There are plenty of non kill methods/options, available that can exterminate these rodents. The natural life cycle balances itself out without the assistance of man. Many animal advocates and activists already have posted many informational videos that also explain the severity of killing animals.

You can use this to catch them. However, the bait will differ since squirrels do not eat the same things as rats.
