Is finding a bird in your house good luck?

It's more widely known as a bad omen. Many people, including myself, experience death after seeing a bird in their home. They are more associated with death than good luck.

I don't think there is any luck associated with finding a bird in your house. I have heard however, that some people do consider it to be a serious death omen. I'm sure this depends on the type of bird, as well as the color and approximate time of day the bird was found.

I don't think so usualyy if I find a bird in my house I think my luck is really bad.

No. It is said that a robin or an owl in the house means death is coming. Another superstition says any bird flying through your house means only big news, but if the bird becomes trapped in the house, the news is about death. The most common superstition relating to birds and good luck is the luck you find after a bird has defecated on you!

In some cultures it is, but it could equally mean bad luck depending on what part of the world and what kind of bird.

There is no such thing as luck--good or bad. A bird's flight destination has nothing to do with bad things that might happen to people. The bird could have poor eyesight--so what does this have to do with anything that happens to us? Nothing.
