Is coughing a symptom of a pinched nerve in the neck?

Not at all. you may cough if you have a small piece of food in the trachea or simply because you got a cold or the flu.

The answer is no. You most likely have a cold, allergies, or throat infection. If you do have a pinched nerve you would have symptoms such as pain, numbness, twitching, stiffness, muscle problems, spasms, but not coughing.

Coughing is not a symptom of a pinched nerve. However, pain in the neck from coughing may be a symptom of a pinched neck nerve.
