A pinched nerve in the left shoulder will cause you to experience symptoms in your arms, wrist, or hands depending on the nerve involved. Symptoms will include numbness and tingling in this area and possible muscle weakness. If inflammation of muscles is causing the nerve to be pinched, symptoms may resolve on their own when the inflammation settles down.

A pinched nerve in the left shoulder has predictable symptoms. The most obvious symptom is left shoulder pain of varying intensities. Numbness, tingling or weakness of shoulder muscles are symptoms also. Pain will radiate down the left arm through to the fingers.
