City of Heroes has gotten some pretty good reviews. Personally, I would recommend it, as it delivers quite well and is refreshingly different from other MMORPGs available now.
It's a pretty fun game, especially if you like superheroes. It's different that most MMORPGs. I believe they offer a free trial if you want to see if you like it before you spend your money.
