If you had radiation in the area of your breast, it could be that the radiation has caused scar tissue to develop, which would feel like a lump in your breast. It is a common side effect, however if you are bothered or unsure, definitely ask your physician to do an exam to rule out fibroid cysts or cancer.

This is common. The breast tissue has been through a traumatic experience and the result of scaring can leave lumpy tissue. This can also be caused by suture lines that have healed as well. These lumps will probably stay for years until the damage can be healed.

I'm not really sure if it is lumpy after a radiation treatment but I suppose it could be normal. You'll have to ask your doctor to find out what just happened.

It is definitely common for breast tissue to be lumpy due to scar tissue from the radiation. What I do suggest if you feel uneasy about the lumps, consult with your doctor just to ease worries. The lumps may also be from suture lines that have healed as well. These lumps can stay for years as well.
