The Bonsai Kitten trend was acctually a hoax, and no such type of technique is done on kittens. If it were, it would absolutely be considered inhumane, as the cat is not allowed to move, causing its muscles to atrophe and its bones to develop abnormally. This cat (if it existed) would never lead a normal, healthy life.

The "Bonsai Kitten" website was a joke. No kittens were hurt in the creation of the website. It is all an image manipulation trick. If it were a real site, yes, it would undoubtedly be inhumane (and it would still be impossible to do). If you seriously think it is real and want one, go stuff yourself in a bottle.
