Cure not necessary. Just put thin marinated beef on racks in the dehydrator.Make the marinade using soy, worcestershire, hot sauce, pepper and garlic.Leave for 8 hours and eat jerky.

No a cure is not necessary when making beef jerky or dried beef product. It is advised to use a cure as a preservitive and prevent food pathogens.

A cure is not needed for making beef jerky. Just choose lean cuts of meat, season with marinades or herbs and spices and dry in a dehydrator.
