Is a Cavalier brake job different than the work on other vehicles?

I don't believe it should be more difficult, save the parts may be less available as the Cavalier is not quite as common a car as some other models. I would assume the price should be the same. I might check one or two other mechanics.

No it is not because it is just another vehicle similar to any other,and it is not different to any other vehicle brakes, so why should it cost more? It is very likely that the mechanic is trying to misleadingly persuade you into paying him more then the right amount.

There is no difference other than the cost of parts may be more than other vehicles that you have taken to him. i reccomend a second estimate.

Cavalier have the same front disk rear drum setup found on a lot of other cars. There should not be any different procedure for it.

Not really. Every car is a little different. Every car has break shoes,and break discs, lug nuts .The front is different from the back though.

It will not cost more than it does any other car. You should take your car to another place because they are trying to rip you off.
