Is $668. 92 a good price for replacing a fuel pump?

It depends on the vehicle. If it is a newer vehicle and the pump is in the tank then you are getting a good deal.

The price is a reasonable total for parts and labor, especially for a car where the fuel tank and pump are easily accessible through the trunk. For a pick-up truck where the bed has to be removed to access the tank and pump, it will take longer, thus costing more.

For parts and labor, this is reasonable. Reputable shops and mechanics have a book that tells them how many hours it takes to do a job on a specific vehicle. They can't charge any more than that, even if it takes longer. They can charge for the alloted hours if they get done early.
