I have had thyroid problems since I was 6 yrs old, hyperthyroidism can affect your heart. When it's too high, it makes your heart beat faster and can weaken the muscles of your heart if left untreated.

Hyperthyroidism is a condition where too much thyroid hormone is produced by the thyroid. Since the thyroid regulates at what pace the entire body functions at, hyperthyroidism can also cause multiple symptoms that can affect the heart. Some symptoms that affect the heart include high blood pressure, irregular, pounding, or rapid heartbeat.
